Ron Mueck

Now, I never claim to be (and I've said this before) an art-buff -- but I know what I like when I see it and I like the work of Ron Mueck.
I happened across his work a few days ago while Stumbling through the internet and have been reading about him for the last forty-five minutes. Some of his work just made me stop and stare at the screen for a while.
I need to see his work face-to-face (as it were).
His sculptures are so unrealistically proportioned and yet, so realistic that they look like real people.
The hairs are real human hair and attached one by one, the nails look realistic and the skin is translucent. It's very haunting.
Did I mention he helped with the designs on Labyrinth (1986) and did [one of] the voice of Ludo?
Pure genius. I really want to find an exhibition of his.
